November 9, 1924 -  June 17, 2019

Born November 09, 1924, Burkaniw, Ukraine.
After a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers, Maria passed away Monday, June 17, 2019. Predeceased by her parents and her husband Petro she leaves behind her sons John (Roma), Bohdan (Margaret) and Andrew (Luba). She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren Adrian (Cristina), Tamara, Andrew (Jenny), Taras (Natalie), Markian (Tamara), and her great-grandchildren Sophia, Alexander, Mila, Guilia, Adrianna, Evan, Lilienne, Lysette, Lorenc and Luc. She will also be greatly missed by her extended family abroad and her friends. She is also predeceased by her late daughter-in-laws Oksana and Helen and her late grandson Michael.
Maria touched the lives and hearts of those who knew her giving her selfless energy to her family and to her commitment to the church and their functions. Her love and gracious strength will always be remembered.



In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sts Peter and Paul Residence, 221 Milner Ave, Scarborough.

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news of your mum, my heart goes out to you all. Maria will now be with Peter and our dad, mum and Andrew. I will be thinking of you all at her funeral tomorrow.
