March 22, 1992 - July 15, 2017

The Toushek family are saddened to announce the passing of Maria on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in her 26th year. Loving daughter to Emilia amd Dimitre. Dear sister of Anthony. Granddaughter of Radko Pandev, niece of Uliana Pandeva and cousin of Ema and Veselin Krumovska, all of Bulgaria.

Friends will be received at the Turner & Porter Neweuk Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W. Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 11 a.m.

Donations made to Canadian Mental Health Association would be gratefully appreciated by the family.

Dear Family,

I am thankful that through Maria's aunt Uliana I got to meet this beautiful, full of light girl. For the short time that I knew her, I felt the emotional closeness I had with her; she made me feel special, she taught me to be braver, and to feel confident about myself. Maria understood me and accepted me the way I am; I am so privileged to have been a part of her life and I'll be forever grateful for that and for the spark she left to keep my heart warm.

Maria, you deserve all the happiness and freedom there is. Until we meet again.

Maria <3 I cannot believe this has happened. I remember in high school, as your classmate, we never really shared more than a passing hello or a short conversation. That being said, I remember your laugh and the way you said my name so specifically. You were incredibly kind and didn't mind my weird-ness. I am so sorry for the loss your family must now endure. I hope you are at peace. <3
