Since my father passed away in July 2022, I spent alot of time with my mother helping her in many different things; appointments, repairs around the home, supplies, day trips, etc etc. I spoke with her quite frequently and when she was in the Shalom LTCH we really enjoyed going for drives around Niagara-on-the-Lake and the falls. She said the others there were jealous that she got to go out when they didn't. She shared life stories with me and was quite intrigued with the area down there. We would usually end these treks with a stop at the local Swiss Chalet or Tim Horton's... her favourite spots. I particularly enjoyed those times and chats, and will greatly miss her... but with her being a fellow Christian and a believer in Jesus Christ, I look forward to seeing her and my dad again in the future!
