Maria Grazia Mazzucco passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in her 97th year.

Born in Tufo di Minturno, Lazio, Italy, Maria immigrated to Canada in 1952 to join her beloved husband, the late Annino Mazzucco. Loving mother to daughter Marie Trauzzi (Lawrence), and son Joseph Mazzucco (Tina). Dear sister to the late Giuseppe and Alessandro Ciufo. Dearest nonna to Christopher (Marjie), Melissa (John), David (Krista), Marisa (Gary) and Daniel (Amber). Cherished bisnonna to Johnluca, Mia, Kiada, Graham, Dante, Delilah, Luca, Nevada, Dylan, and Madison.. Maria will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.

Maria had a passion for spending time with her family and friends. She loved cooking and sharing her recipes. She will be fondly remembered for her strength, determination, and feisty personality.

Friends may call at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, Friday, December 30, 2022 from 2-9 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2480 Thornlodge Dr, Mississauga, on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 10 a.m.
