Maria passed away peacefully on April 22, 2018. Beloved wife to Jose. She will be greatly missed by her children the late Ligia (Joao), Joe (Maria) and Paula (Tony). Cherished grandmother to Lisa, Daisy, Eric, Melissa, Justin, Megan, and Mason. Great-grandmother to Kailey and Leidson. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-9. Funeral Mass will be held at Cristo Rei Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Assumption Cemetery.

How I miss you so much. You were like a mother to me. Even sick as you were you still managed to gives us that smile. Nothing will be the same again and the house will be lonely. Walking downstairs yesterday seemed odd because you weren't sitting in your favorite spot on the couch. Fly high and may you rest in internal peace. Love you and miss you so much . Your daughterinlaw and 3 rd daughter. Sua rica nora as you always called me even on your last day. Forever in our hearts❤😢💔

I miss you so much. You were like my second mother. Always had a smile when I came over or you saw me. Even on your last days you still would give us that smile. First thing you would do was smile and say a minha rica nora. You were a beautiful kind soul that never spoke a mean word to anyone. The other night when I went downstairs to find a picture for your memorial cards I looked at the couch and somehow you would be sitting in that favorite spot of yours on it but it was empty. I will miss you very much . You will forever be in my heart prayers and memory. I will watch over father-in-law as well. Hope u are watching your blue jays, maple leaf and raptor from heaven. Now you are with your daughter. Rest in peace madrinha 😍❤❤🙇‍♀️

You were an amazing mother ,Grandmother and motherinlaw. You had the kindest sweetest soul and a smile what a smile. When I would come over you would smile, give your little chuckle and say a minha rica Nora. Even during your last days on earth you still managed to smile. Hope you are resting in peace in heaven watching your Maple leafs, Bluejays and raptors play. Missing you dearly. The other night I went downstairs to find a picture for the memorial cards and I expected you to be sitting in your favourite spot on the couch......but you weren’t.
