Words cannot express my sadness at the passing of Maria. She was a wonderful and caring individual. When my mom was in poor health and in the hospital, she and Manuel would always make a point of visiting her in order to cheer her up. She was much more than a friend, she was family. I will miss her.

Prima Emilia was a wonderful gentle spirit who was thoughtful and always had a sparkle in her eyes. We were lucky to have her in our lives since we moved to Canada - that's over 56 years! She bravely battled Parkinson's and I remember her enjoying puzzles and games and looking at family pictures when visiting her. She loved her family and was very loved. We will miss you and will always have wonderful memories of you!!
