Passed away peacefully at her residence at Chartwell on January 21, 2021 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife for 58 years of the late Peter Young. Loved baby sister of the late Bert, Ann, Jack and Harold. Close friend to sister in law Mary Coulson. Later life companion to Roy Pardy.

Marg’s keen intelligence, irrepressible sense of humour, and light-up-the-room smile will be sadly missed by her friends and numerous nieces and nephews. As hard as it will be for us to bear her loss, it is worth remembering Marg’s own words of late that she had had a full and happy life. She felt grateful to have achieved all she wanted to do, and was at peace with God. A lifelong “Coronation Street” fan, she stated humourously that it was now time for her to “pop her clogs.”
