Aunt Peg was special to me, so caring and interested in my life. I had always heard, too, of how she cared for all of her siblings, especially my Dad Phil who was the youngest. My thoughts are with Fred and Joan and family as we remember and cherish a great family matriarch. I still recall my visit to Christi Gardens, not long after Aunt Peg had moved in there, like it was yesterday.
Farewell Aunt Peg! You were such an elegant grande dame. I wish we had seen more of you in recent years but those happy years when we were all together in Muskoka keeps our memory sharp of what a wonderful woman you were. All the very best to you,, Fred, from Barry and Caroline and family. Our prayers go out to you and we are sorry that we are unable to come to the service.
My mother, Margaret Lefeaux, was a neighbour of Peggy's in the apartment on Royal York Rd. They were quite good friends for the years that they lived next to each other and my mother liked Peggy very, very much. Unfortunately, they lost touch once Peggy moved out of the apartment building but Mom talked often of their 'adventures'. I remember Peggy as a kind and elegant lady and was quite saddened to hear of her passing. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of the family. Mom is also heading to her 100th birthday next month. Amazing women! Sue
I'll always remember Aunt Peg as a kind, gentle, generous woman. Sweet and warm, she was perceptive in every way. She will be missed. Love, Matt.
My sincere condolences to the family of Peggy.
