In Celebration of

Margaret "Pearl" Meikle

December 24, 1930 -  February 12, 2016

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Friday February 12, 2016. Beloved wife of Leonard for 64 years; loving Mum to Craig (Theresa), Brian (Candy) and Lynn (Steve); proud Nana to Johnathan, Cameron, Christy, Mathew, Kyle, Brianne, Michael and Cole.

Pearl was born in Ayr, Scotland, December 24th, 1930, sister to Molly (Rajah), cherished daughter to Mathew and Annie Robertson (nee McClay).

Pearl will be remembered for her inquisitive mind and quest for knowledge. She worked at Richview Library for 20 years always with a book in hand, attending lectures, and travelling the world with her devoted husband Len.

Pearl’s sense of style and flare for fashion was always evident. She enjoyed curling, golf and bridge with her many friends. Her generosity included countless charities. Pearl never lost her melodic accent and could still knock out a Highland Dance to the delight of her family.

“May the longtime sun shine upon you. All love surround you, and the pure light within you guide your way.”
