Passed away at Etobicoke General Hospital on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of Francis Crouse. Survived by her brother Nicholson McRae and predeceased by her eldest brother Thomas McRae and predeceased by her parents Thomas McRae Sr. and Sarah Laviolette McRae. Dearly loved aunt of Paul (Fiona), Tom (Cathy), Martha (Shane) and Janet (Tom).

Margaret will be fondly remembered as a longtime dedicated educator with the Toronto Catholic School Board; her love of travel across the world; a lifelong member at St. George’s Golf and Country Club, including her celebration of two “hole in ones”; and for being a fierce bridge competitor.

She will be dearly missed.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s Roman Catholic Church, 122 Rathburn Road, Toronto will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 1 p.m.

Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Credit.
