<div itemprop="description">Peacefully, on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at St. Joseph&rsquo;s Health Centre, Toronto at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Norman. Cherished mother of Larry (Barbara), Susan Silliker (Gary) and Jean (Paul). Devoted Grandma of Tammy, Teri (Steve), Isaac, and great Grandma of Heather, Lindsay, James and Evan. Margaret was the central pillar of her family, for friends and the community. She was a kind and loving soul who accepted everyone, and had a special place in her heart for those who were going through difficult times. Margaret was a loving mom and grandma not only to her immediate family but also to people around her. She touched the lives of many. Margaret worked hard throughout her life in many roles, but particularly enjoyed a lengthy career as a teacher&rsquo;s support aide at Lucy McCormick Public School and in the dining hall at Burwash Hall, University of Toronto. <br />Friends may call at the Turner &amp; Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Friday from 2-4 &amp; 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery. <br />For those who wish, donations may be made to Covenant House.<br /></div>
