I have very fond memories of Mae when she lived in Mount Stewart PE, we use to spend a lot of time together especially on Saturday nights when we be together for music and friendship. When she moved to Toronto we would always visit when we went there. She was a beautiful person.
With my sincere sympathy,

So sorry to hear about Mae. Let me know if you need help with the PEI memorial. We spend summers there and I can help with arrangements. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Our Sincerest Condolences to all the Douglas Family. We were saddened to read in this morning’s paper of Mae’s death. May she Rest In Peace. Please keep us informed regarding her commitment in PEI next summer as baring Provincial restrictions, we will be there for the summer. Hugs to all, Art& Else
We met at John English JMS and fast became friends sharing many laughs and teaching adventures together. She was a wonderful teacher and administrator who cared deeply. I will miss her dearly.
I met Mae as a fellow teacher at John English Junior Middle School. I will miss her insight, her intellect, her love of the children, her kind soul and her wonderful sense of humour. My condolences to her family.
