Passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on July 6, 2020 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Angelina Soares. Loving father of Jose Soares, Vidalia Soares, Antonio Soares, Hildeberto Soares, Manuel Soares, Rui Soares, Ilda Faria, Arlindo Soares & Carlos Soares. Much loved grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held, followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.

If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Grandpa, there are no words to express how deeply we are all going to miss you. You were always a great presence in our lives whether in happy times or sad you were our rock. We will forever remember your laughter, your stories, your hilarious sarcasm but most of all the kind-hearted man you were and how much you loved us all. My brother and I were very fortunate to have been raised by you and grandma and we will forever be grateful for all of the great qualities you instilled in us and all the great memories that we had. Till we meet again one day.
