It is with great sadness that I write this as my Grandma played a big part in my upbringing. As the first grandchild, I spent a lot of time at her house and she always made sure I was well fed! Her shouting "Eat your tuna-bun!" still echoes in my head to this day! Then her door was always open every weekend for Sunday family dinner, which gratefully kept me well fed through my young adult life. She was a fan of country music, crossword puzzles and reading the news to you. Her last years were not kind to her but I'm glad that she had many that were. She will be missed.
Luv ya mom - miss you already.
One of the most giving, caring people I've ever had the pleasure of encountering, and it just so happens to be one I've had the pleasure of calling "Grandma" - you will be missed Grandma.
I'm certainly grateful to be able to take the memories I have with you. You always looked out for me, and ensured I had anything I could ever want while in your presence - and those memories aren't limited to the way you looked out for me, that was how you treated anyone who was ever in your presence.
I know that if there's one thing I wish I could be more like you at, it would be to be as giving and caring as you were for my entire life, which I'm sure is how you were your entire life. I want to thank you so much for the way you treated me, and am so grateful for the mother I got, through you - who clearly inherited the giving, caring gene, that was so prominent in you.
Till the day we meet again Grandma, love Ben.
Eric, My sincere condolences. I know how you feel. My mom went in 2009 and it is not the same in the house any more.
But it's only temporary, we will meet them again.
My deepest condolences on your loss. Thinking of you at this difficult time.
