After a brief illness at Mississauga Hospital, Magdalena Martinovic passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025 with her loving children by her side.
Predeceased by her dear husband, Jozo, Magdalena is survived by her children, Martin and Lida. She is also predeceased by her parents, Michal and Magdalena. Magdalena’s grieving loved ones include her supportive siblings, Julia (the late Michal Kolesár) Kolesárová, Mariana Vagašová, Michal (Kristína) Vagaš, and Jozef Vagaš; her cousins Luba (Wayne Evans) Kelebay, Zirka Kelebay, and Orest Kelebay; and her many wonderful nephews, nieces and friends.
The Martinovic family wish to thank the many healthcare providers, especially Dr. Nguyen, who went above and beyond, who kindly cared for Magdalena during her stay at Mississauga Hospital.
Visitation will take place on Monday, June 23rd, 2025 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, Ontario.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 at 11:00am at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Parish, 5255 Thornwood Drive, Mississauga, Ontario.
