Magdalena "Leni" Schroeter

July 10, 1929 - April 2, 2017

Passed peacefully on April 2, 2017 at Credit Valley Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Josef. Loving mother of Bernard (Erika), Stephen (Laura), Joseph (Linda-Lee) and Anthony (Ashley). Cherished Oma of Sarah (Mike), Karin (Daniel), Kathleen (James), Allyson, Ethan and his mother Sandre. Omama of Tyler and Lauren. Adored sister of Leo (late Ulrike) and the late Franz (Wilma) Trautmann. Leni was a member of the CWL for over 40 years, as well as the Mississauga Quilters Guild.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 921 Flagship Dr., Mississauga, on Thursday April 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

My sweet friend, you will be missed by so many family and friends. You touched our hearts and our souls with your kindness and wisdom. For me, you were a friend and Mom, when I needed you and I hope you considered me one of your friends and adopted children. Hans and I will miss your smiling face and warm embrace always but most of all on Christmas Eve. The memories still bring a smile to our faces even though its been years since we have been able to share that special time of year together. Go to God in peace my friend and know you will be missed and remembered.
