So sad to hear of Loris unexpected passing. Her and her dog Tucker were wonderful neighbours in our building and she was a very kind and friendly cashier over many years at our Shoppers Drugmart and then Independent grocery store, always had a smile and chat for everyone!
She will be very much missed! We hope Tucker gets a new home in our building.

My heart is broken at loss of my good friend Lori, far too soon. Having meet Lori and Brian in the 80s at the plaza, I will always cherish the times at the cottage and the laughs we had just sitting around the fire or in a basement. Lori touched a lot of peoples live day in and day out in her work at Shoppers. Like D.F. Wallace said โ€˜ being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day. That is real freedom.โ€
My deepest condolences to Brian and Loriโ€™s Family.

Dearest Lori. I am in total disbelief and shock. If I had a bad day it would always cheer me up to see you and your loyal, beloved Tucker go for numerous walks throughout the day. Your smile and laugh always touched me. I will miss you and the building won't be the same without your cheerful presence.

May you rest in peace, Lori, and I sincerely hope that Tucker is in hands as loving as yours.
