In Celebration of

Linda Ann Dickson

August 27, 1947 -  January 8, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda, beloved mother and cherished friend to many. Linda fought a courageous battle with cancer and was met and brought home by the angels on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Hennick Bridgepoint Palliative Care Unit (10N), 2N and Father Wilson Andrade who provided unparalleled support and care.

Linda was deeply loved and her memory will forever be a blessing. “This is not goodbye but only see you later”. Private funeral arrangements have been made.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Hi Cindy:
Firstly, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom. Although I did not know your Mother well as I had only met her on two occasions, I felt as if I did because we shared a very good friend in Irene. Irene would relate stories of her and Linda’s many harmless and sometimes mischievous antics when they were younger. This gave me a real insight into the person she was and of someone I probably would have befriended given the opportunity had the circumstances been offered. Your Mom and Irene were lifelong loyal friends and not everyone is afforded that. I am sure that Irene will miss the physical presence of your Mom but, she has a wealth of memories to draw on when she wants to remember and smile knowing that she had in her life, the gift of a true friend.

The loss of a Mother is very profound and I know that you Cindy, will have some hard times ahead. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that your Mother is no longer in pain and at peace because she left this world knowing how much she loved you and was loved.

God bless you and may Linda rest in gentle peace.

Regards
Florence
