In Celebration of

Lincoln Paul Humphrey

October 12, 1948 -  March 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lincoln Paul Humphrey on March 13, 2026, at the age of 77.

Lincoln was the heart of his family - a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. His wisdom, faith, and steady presence shaped the lives of those around him.

Born in the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago to his parents, Edna and Paras, Lincoln was one of nine siblings and was raised in a family grounded in discipline, faith, and responsibility.

In the 1970s, he moved to Canada, where he built a successful career in finance. He served as Controller and later the Vice President of Finance at Inter City Papers, now known as Unisource, before later opening his own company, Inter Continental Papers Inc. He was known for his strategic thinking, strong ability with numbers, remarkable common sense, and creative out-of-the-box thinking. Many valued his insight, often seeking his advice and trusting his ability to read people well.

Lincoln had a love for politics and spirited debate. He was never shy about sharing his perspective. He enjoyed the simple things most - music playing in the backyard, admiring his well-manicured yard and vibrant flowers, good food, a glass of scotch, lively conversation, and time spent with the people he loved.

Above all, Lincoln was devoted to his family. He was a loving husband to his cherished wife Roma, and a guiding presence to his daughters Tricia (Andrew) and Ashley (Adam). He adored his grandchildren Mia and Austin, who brought him immense pride and joy.

A man of deep faith, Lincoln lived with quiet strength and dignity, even through his many years of health challenges, when asked how he was doing, he would often smile and simply say, โ€œI am well.โ€

He will be deeply missed and forever loved, and the strength, faith, and devotion to family that defined his life will remain with those who knew him best.
