Nee: Borland
On Thursday, November 8, 2018, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully in her 89th year. Dear mother of Lynn (Larry) and Karen (David), loving grandmother of Jason (Jessica), Samantha, Carolyn (Michael) and Jessica (Drew), and proud great-grandmother of Zoe and Oliver. Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Robert (2005). She lived a full, independent life and had danced at her grandson's wedding less than one week earlier. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) Etobicoke on Monday, November 12th from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 13th from 12 to 1 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Halton Down Syndrome Association in honour of Jake Hardy, her great-nephew, would be appreciated.
