In Celebration of

Lillian Kryzanowski

September 27, 1925 -  January 17, 2022

Lillian Kryzanowski, 96, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went home to be with her Lord on January 17, 2022. She was born in Warsaw, Poland to the late Peter and Xenia Nesterenko.

Lillian is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Samuel Kryzanowski and her sons Leonard and David. Lillian is survived by her loving daughter, Catherine and son-in-law Terry Govereau; her much loved grandchildren Jennifer Govereau, Kristen (Bryce) Bartlett, Matthew (Katie) Govereau, Ryan (Jessica) Kryzanowski and Adam Kryzanowski; and great-grandchildren Dawson, Jack, Georgia-Mae, Leo, Jaron ,Danny and Natalie. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.

Lillian is also pre-deceased by her brother Steve Nesterenko , sister Rose-Marie (Walter) Ostapchuk, brother-in-law Eugene Kucenko. She is survived by sister Sarah Kucenko and her many nieces and nephews.

Lillian immigrated to Canada as a baby and lived in Toronto her whole life. She loved T.O! She came to know the Lord as a teenager and served Him her whole life by playing piano in church and singing in the choir. Lillian met her late husband Samuel at church and they were married on June 26,1943. She worked as a secretary until she had her children. Lillian was the "Martha Stewart" of her day! Always entertaining and having people over. Her cooking was like none other and everything had to be home made (including clothes!) She was quite the seamstress and knitter too.

Lillian loved her family and friends more than life itself. Her unconditional love and kindness for everyone will never be forgotten.

Her life was a living example of one of her favourite Bible verses:
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:32

A private family funeral will be held on Friday January 21, 2022 due to Covid restrictions.

A "Celebration of Life" will follow when Covid restrictions are eased.

Grandma, our QUEEN...

You are the woman that shaped our family, instilled values and morals, taught us how to cook and eat potato pancakes until we couldn't breath and most of all taught us what it meant to put Jesus first and love others like he first loved us. You were the BEST grandma and Jumpy Jumpy and we will miss you forever until we meet again one day on those streets of gold! I bet you are dancing on them right now!

We love you Grandma and Jumpy Jumpy and thank you for the legacy you left behind. We love you forever.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Lillian. She was such a sweet, kind, fund and strong Godly lady. May the family find peace, comfort and hope knowing that Lillian has been promoted to Glory.
May God's peace and encouragement be with the family with the knowledge that God has called this "saint" home.
