This is a very sad day in the life of all the Larkes', Lila was a very treasured part of all our families.
She was a wonderful Lady.
I can only imagine the reunion that is taking place in Heaven.
Could make one envious.
Much Love.
Such great memories of her and how much fun her and Bill had with my Mom and Dad and us as kids. Sending our sincere condolences to Janie and the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you...RIP Aunt Lila
Wanted to add that she was such a bubbly lady with the most amazing laugh and smile. You just loved being around her!
So sorry to see Aunt Lila pass.
She will always be remembered by me as a little ball of fire and energy.
Rest In Peace
Lila was only 7 years old when I was born. My Mother Adeline was her eldest sister. She was more like a big sister to me than an Aunt. We lived through the depression and the Second World War. I mourned with her at the death of her precious little son Gary. I rejoiced with her at the birth of her dear daughter Janie Margaret. She and my Mother shouldered the day to day care of their invalid Mother Lily until her death. Lila also cared for her Spinster sister Lillian until her death. She was selfless in her care of others for all her life. I rejoice in knowing we will be together in a better place some day soon. Rest In Peace dear heart, no one ever deserved a rest more than you.
