Lew Silecky

September 20, 1951 -  August 7, 2022

Passed away at Trillium Health Partners Credit Valley Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of 70. Beloved and amazing husband of Halyna. Loving and outstanding father of Adrian, Taisa, and son-in-law Omar. Cherished grandfather of Sofia and Mila. He was loved by everyone, had an amazing personality, big heart, full of joy, a people pleaser, and loved to make everyone laugh. He loved his heritage, being patriotic and proud to be Ukrainian. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. To God we belong and to Him, we shall return.

Family and Friends may attend the Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 4-9 p.m. Panakhyda on Thursday, August 11, 2022, @ 7:30 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy, will be held at St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 300 River Oaks Blvd., Oakville, on August 12, 2022, at 11:30 a.m.

Interment St. Volodymyr’s Cemetery.
