In Celebration of

Leslie Olejarz

April 15, 1948 -  June 28, 2025

Leslie Olejarz died peacefully with his family by his side on June 28, 2025. Les is survived by his wife, his children Katherine (Adam), Paul (Prima) and Jennifer (Victor). He is the cherished dziadzia of Nathan, Lauren, Meghan and Charlotte. He also leaves behind a sister-in-law with her husband and their children and grandchildren, along with more family and friends.

Les was born in England and immigrated to Canada as a young child. He was very artistic, with an unmatched ear for music and could play many instruments. Later in life he took to singing in a choir and joined a photography club, which brought him joy. He was also a big sports fan and always held an opinion on the performance of his favorite teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays.

He will be remembered always for his love of song and encouraging words. You could count on him to tell you to believe in yourself and follow your own path.

A visitation will be held on Sunday July 6, 2025 from 5:00-9:00 pm at Turner & Porter, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga. Rosary will be at 8:15 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 4260 Cawthra Road, Mississauga on Monday July 7, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada.

Henja/Katherine/Paul/Jennifer - We are so sorry to hear about Les' passing. Les was truly a vibrant member of our extended family that will be missed. He was such a proud Canadian and so proud of what he achieved in life. When I think back to conversations with him, he always had something meaningful, interesting and often inspiring to say. Cherish the many great memories that you each have of him.
