Early in the morning on November 27, 2023, Leslaw passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family at the age of 73.

Leslaw was born in Brzeg, Poland and in late 1950s he moved with his parents to Krakow, Poland where he met his beloved wife Elzbieta of 47 years. Leslaw was a loving, caring, and protective father to Anna Fuksa (Salvatore “Sam” Reale) and Monika Swol (Wieslaw). Cherished grandfather of Olivia and Julia.

Leslaw was a dedicated sports enthusiast and inspiring scout leader in his early years. While he was pursuing his career as an engineer he found his lifelong partner, Elzbieta, in 1974, and together they embraced a joyous journey, sealing their union in marriage. Immigrating to Canada in 1989, Leslaw's strong work ethic and unwavering determination defined him as a hardworking and goal-driven individual. In 1994, he joyfully reunited with his family in Canada, where his commitment to family always took precedence. Leslaw will be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his fun personality and incredible humor. May his legacy continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.

Family and friends are invited for visitation at Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 5-9 p.m. Rosary at 8:15 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
