In Celebration of

Lambrini Loula Varjacic

October 18, 1929 -  August 22, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lambrini Varjacic, affectionately known to all as Loula — a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She passed away peacefully in palliative care at The McCall Centre for Continuing Care on August 22, at the age of 95.

Born in Petrochori, Greece in 1929, Loula lost both of her parents at a young age and was raised by her siblings. With remarkable courage, she left her homeland behind to emigrate to Canada in 1956. She settled in Toronto and, in 1960, married her husband of 65 years, Milan.

Loula’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She was the proud and loving mother of Marilyn Katsabas and her husband, Nicholaus; and a deeply adored grandmother (Baka) to her grandchildren, Christian and Sara.

Loula will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
