With great sadness, we share the passing of Krystyna Ochryniak (nee Matysiak) on December 19, 2025, at the age 87. She passed away peacefully following a brief illness, surrounded by family at the Trillium Mississauga Hospital.

Krystyna emigrated from Poland and moved to Toronto in 1959. There she became a wife and mother. Working hard to help support the family, she worked at the William Neilson (Cadbury) chocolate factory until her retirement. An avid gardener and baker, she enjoyed entertaining and playing with her two dogs Misha and Ritz.

Krystyna is predeceased by her husband Kazimierz Ochryniak, and is survived by her children, Irena Ochryniak and Henry Ochryniak.

The family wishes to thank the in-home care nurse and doctor who tirelessly made their regular at home visits, as well as all of the doctors, nurses, and support staff who helped Krystyna during her final days at the hospital.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter "Peel Chapel" 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga
Monday, December 29th, from 5p.m. - 8p.m.

Funeral will be held at St. Casimir's Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto
Tuesday, December 30 at 10 a.m.
