In Celebration of

Kim Gaziuk

June 19, 1956 -  November 22, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kim Murray Gaziuk, with family lovingly by his side on November 22, 2023 at the age of 67. Kim will be remembered as a fun-loving man whose caring nature and unique wit brought a smile to all who knew him. He loved life, cherished tradition, and enjoyed spending time up north, at a music concert, on the boat, on the beach, and of course with his beloved family.

Kim was predeceased by his grandparents Baba and Gigi Mudry and Baba and Gigi Gaziuk, as well as his loving father, Murray Gaziuk. He will be greatly missed by his adoring mother Elsie (née Mudry). He was a wonderful younger brother to his sister Karen Whale and brother-in-law Mike. Loving father to Thomas, Robert, Tarron and Kristin. Devoted uncle to Jenn (Paul), Nicki (Adam) and Jeff (Caleigh). Fun great-uncle to Nolan, Alex, Ella, Landon, Leo and Cash. He will also be greatly missed by his close-knit group of friends and his cousins.

Friends may call at Turner & Porter, Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West on Wednesday, November 29th from 6-8:30 p.m. (Panakhyda prayer service at 8pm). A Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, November 30th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Private interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Kids' Hospital or The Daily Food Bank.

Kim will be deeply missed. He was loving, charming, witty, delightful, gracious…
I will miss his big hugs, times on the front porch listening to music, discussing, debating, and sharing stories, having dinners and seeing bands together and our adventures on the on the Orion V. I’ll miss his smile and his trying to be positive.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Kim's beautiful Mother, his beloved children, his sister, brother and all family members and friends, at this sad and difficult time. I have known Kim since grade 7, and we had many fun times hanging out with Kim and his friends, along with the band at St. Matthew's Church Best Cellar/Drop In back in the day. We were carefree back then and I was honoured to be included in the location of their "secret fort" in the fields of Etobicoke. You came to my very first teenage party Kim, and all the girls were enamored by your good looks and charm. I was delighted to receive your facebook friend request ages ago and enjoyed that reconnection immensely. Rest in Peace my friend, Virg xo

Kim and I have known each other since grade 7 and although we were in and out of each other's lives when we got together it was like no time had passed. He was a lovely, silly, kind man and I will miss him.
My thoughts are with you all.

With sympathy, Donna Rae
