August 23, 1969 - November 2, 2017

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Kevin Patrick Lee on November 2, 2017 - taken from this world far too soon at the age of 48. He will forever live in our hearts and memories. Loving husband of Joyce, cherished father of Rebecca and Justin, much loved son of Jan and Terry, and son-in-law to Verla and Theo Hogewoning. He will be greatly missed by his brothers and sister, Dana (née Lee) and Dave Welsh, Cameron and Leea, Chad and Tonya, Sharon and Rob Graham. Adored Uncle to Kayleigh, Mackenzie, Veronica, Carter, Austin, Kassady and Melanie. Dearly missed by his extended family and many friends. He was actively involved in Ringette and has touched so many lives through this as well as other sports including Hockey, Lacrosse, Softball and Golf. He was respected and adored by all, his enormous heart, his love and kindness touched everyone around him. The family will receive friends at the Turner & Porter (Peel) Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Thursday, November 9, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. For those that wish, donations in memory of Kevin may be made to Ringette Canada to support officiating development (http://www.ringette.ca/donate/) or Heart & Stroke Foundation. Kevin Lee was one of most kind and generous soul anyone could of known! He always saw the best in people! He touched the heart and soul of a great deal of ringette athletes over the years. Ringette world will definitely not be the same without him!

Although we only would connect once a year, it has been many years and great times with the kids. My heart goes out to the family and friends. It is clear that Kevin has impacted so many people and that he will be greatly missed. Hugs to Joyce, Rebecca and Justin.
