Ken was an outstanding librarian, who took it upon himself to show me the ropes when I was just starting out in the craft. Furthermore, his humour, wit and uncanny perception made each and every working with him a pleasure. My deepest and sincere sympathy for the family.

I was so very very sad to hear about Ken. I worked with him at FV and Central libraries for many years. He was a great guy, kind, intelligent and funny. We had an affinity both coming from the UK and he was nice to me when my husband died. I am sure there are many lovely stories about him. When we were in the workroom he used to talk about his family, his time in Wales and once turned up on a day out with a bottle of booze in his glove compartment. Obviously I haven't seen him in a long time but I will miss him....he was a link to the old country and a good friend. Condolences to his family.

With deepest sympathy to Ken's family. I worked with him here at NYCL when I first started. He was always friendly, funny and interesting.
