Passed away peacefully with his children Kevin and Emily and wife Linda by his side. He will be sadly missed by his sister Marilyn and many family and friends. A veterinarian practicing since 1986, Ken helped thousands of pets, was a gifted surgeon, and known as a compassionate and caring practitioner. Words can’t truly express how heartbroken we are at his passing. Visitation on Monday, August 28th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm and memorial service on Tuesday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Farley Foundation or Dorothy Ley Hospice. Special thanks to Ken’s care team from Queensway Trillium Cancer Centre for all their expertise and genuine care – Laurie, Liz, Dr. Hung, Dr. Hussain, Dr. Wan – and to Debbie Fitzsimmons from the Dorothy Ley Hospice. We learned many lessons through this journey; the most important of those being the joys of living every day with gratitude.
