It is with great sadness that the Kovacic family announces the passing of Katica (Kathy) Kovacic, peacefully at Trillium Health Centre- Mississauga, on Friday, August 18, 2017, at the age of 71. Beloved wife of the late Mato Kovacic. Loving mother of Frank and his wife, Rosalinda and Joseph and his wife, Paula. Dearest Baka of grandchildren Matthew, Alexander, Kristina and Olivia. Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy 10 N. of QEW) on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Croatian Catholic Mission at Holy Trinity Church, 2110 Trafalgar Rd, Oakville (N. of QEW, west side), on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Assumption Mausoleum. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Croatian Catholic Mission at Holy Trinity Church, Oakville.

Katica was a lovely woman whose greatest joy was her family. It was a pleasure to have known her and enjoyed her company. Her quiet laughter and smile as she shook her head and recounted a story of one of her 4 grandchildren is a frequent picture of her that comes to mind. She adored her family and was delighted to be a part of their lives. Our thoughts and prayers go to all of you. She will be missed. Your cousins John , Katarina, Luka and Milana Bursic .

I'm very sorry to hear about Kathy's passing. She was a wonderful, hard working lady who loved her family. I had many conversations with her after school at Holy Rosary and I know how very much she adored her family.
