It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Margaret Halligan on April 25, 2025, at the age of 70, at Credit Valley Hospital.

Beloved wife and best friend to Wayne Ferderber for over 38 wonderful years. Kathy was a devoted stepmother to Derrick Ferderber (Daniela) and Marilyn Warner. She is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Michael Michalski (Margaret) and Wally Michalski (Simone), and is predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Gertrude Michalski, and her sister Marrianne (Bernard). Kathy’s memory will be cherished by her many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Born in London, Ontario, Kathy was the youngest of four siblings. She had a passion for sewing and entertaining, and enjoyed playing Euchre with friends—a pastime she continued at the Credit River Retirement Residence. She and Wayne shared a love of travel, spending many joyful winters together in Florida.
Kathy will be remembered by those who knew her and will be missed by family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Saturday, May 10, 2025at from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 1p.m.
