In Celebration of

Katherine Elizabeth Curran

May 27, 1946 -  November 21, 2022

It is with profound sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Katherine Elizabeth Curran on Monday, November 21, 2022. Beloved wife of Terry, loving mother of Michael (Kate), Kristine (Bill), Sean (Carol), and Patrick (Jamie). Devoted Grandmother of Erin, Ryan, Braden, Aidan, Devin, Bridget, Anne-Marie, and Casey. Treasured sister-in-law of Richard (Kim), Patricia, Eugene (Margie), Maureen, and Sheila (Jon). Dear Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was an amazing and loving person full of life and always smiling. She was a tireless and dedicated worker at Sunkist/Michael Angelos for 20 years who impacted the lives of many. She was at her best and happiest when surrounded by her family. She had a deep abiding love for her children, grandchildren and most especially her husband of 56 years. A beacon - at times a mentor, at times a listener, at times a shoulder to lean on, at all times a source of unconditional love.
She proudly kept everyone up to date of her children’s and grandchildren’s developments as well as their whereabouts.

We would like to thank the nurses and doctors in the Renal Department at Credit Valley Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.

Visitation to be held at Turner & Porter, Neweduk Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 2-5pm. Internment will be held at St. James Cemetery in Clandeboye, Ontario at 1:30 pm on Monday, November 28, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I am so sad to hear about your passing. Life is short. Looking back however, I was so glad that I had made acquaintance of you when you became my daughter's mother-in-law. You had and will always have a very special place in my heart. I'll remember you as a warm, caring, and beautiful lady. Rest in peace.
