Karl was a wonderful, caring man whose company I enjoyed at Applewood United Church. His spirit and sense of humour will be long remembered.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Just a few days ago in the staff room, you were talking about your visit with your dad and it was obvious what a special relationship you both shared. How precious indeed to have a lifetime of memories to hold onto to and cherish when there is so many less than favourable relationships in this world. I am thinking of you, dear Barb, as we all are at school.
Barb and family, I was saddened to hear of your Dad’s death. You have shared a number of stories about him. You no doubt inherited a number of your qualities from him. May the love of your family nd friends bring you strength at this time and may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
I became acquainted with Karl at the men's coffee group on Wednesday mornings at Applewood United church. I looked forward to his updates on the Large Hadron collider, his interest in particle physics. and his trips to the church on the red scooter. I marvelled at his adventures during WW II It left a gap when he could no longer make the trips. My sympathies to all his family.
Our condolences to the Fleck family.
