In Celebration of

June Wells

July 16, 1947 -  July 15, 2025

June Ann Wells (née Grice) daughter of Friend Alvin Grice and Marion Pearl Grice (née Webb) passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Mississauga Trillium Hospital, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Charles Wells.
June is deeply mourned by her children:
• David Dennis Wells (wife Melissa Wells)
• Dawn Marie Wells

She is also lovingly remembered by her sister Barbara Rivers, niece Kim Collard (Kevin and Travis Collard), nephew Ken Rivers, and many extended family members and friends.

June led a full, vibrant life. She had an infectious passion for life, cherishing time spent with her family, tending to her garden, caring for her beloved pets, and enjoying summers at the family cottage. Her enduring legacy is her spirit—marked by kindness, compassion, and a gentle soul. She genuinely inspired everyone she met.

As a mother, she was hardworking, selfless, and dedicated; her greatest joy was her family. Those who knew her will never forget her radiant smile, heartfelt laughter, and the motto she lived by: “Live, laugh, love.”

Though the world seems dimmer without her, we take comfort believing that heaven shines brighter with her light. Now at peace, she’s “enjoying a round of poker with loved ones,” continuing to bring joy even beyond.
She will be eternally missed and remembered as a true angel whose shoes are impossible to fill. June — fondly called Marmie , will live forever in our hearts.
