It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest Julio Augusto Da Silva Henriques. God called Julio while surrounded by his wife and children on Wednesday November 30th, at the age of 77 after a short battle with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Raquel. Julio was a cherished father to Kathleen (Daniele) and Nelson (Claudia).

Proud Vovo to Jonathan, Luke, Cassandra, Gabriel and his beloved Lauren.

Julio is now reunited in Heaven with his mother Idalia and father Joaquim Henriques. He will always be held dear in the hearts of his brother/sister in laws, nieces, nephews, his many cousins, friends and all those whose lives he touched over the years.

His love of nature and the outdoors has been captured through his passion for photography. We know his photographs of family, nature and beauty in the world will continue to fill many people with the incredible joy he felt for life.

Our eyes will forever be filled with tears at the very thought of your passing. We will always be followed by your smile and knowing the many hearts you touched over the years. We were so blessed to have had you in our lives.
