In Celebration of

Judy Moore

November 5, 1950 -  December 6, 2018

Judy passed peacefully at home on December 6, 2018 surrounded by family after a brave fight with cancer. Her family has lost their anchor, but 'Granny' lives on in the hearts of husband, Bob; daughters, Ainsley, Devon and Blair; grandchildren, Ryan and Laren; friends and extended family. Judy was a lover of golf, curling, good food and wine, travel, laughter, and most of all friendships. Judy was a professional chartered accountant for over 40 years, and was active in a number of charities.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10 N of QEW) Saturday December 8, 2018 from 4-7 p.m.

A Memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday December 9, 2018 at 11 a.m.

Donations in her memory can be made to Moorelands Kids.

Judy has been a dear friend for 36 years. As neighbours living a few houses away from each other, I had the opportunity to see her three lovely daughters grow up to be wonderful young women. Judy worked very hard at her profession but always put her family first. As part of a close knit group of friends in the neighbourhood, we will miss her wry sense of humour and her hearty laugh. She always called a spade a spade and was always honest in her opinions and assessments. A great lady and a very good friend.

I am thinking of you, Bob, and the girls. Remember the good times and Judy’s wonderful spirit. She is now free from pain and may she be at peace.

Judy was a wonderful woman who always made me feel welcome in her home. My Son Lachlin and I had the privilege to spend some time with her and her grandchild Ryan this summer; and it only reinforced my affection for her. Our deepest condolences to the whole family. She will be missed.
