In Celebration of

Judy Johnson

February 15, 1941 -  October 21, 2018

Peacefully on October 21. Leaves behind her devoted husband Peter, children Steve (Kristan), Beth, Kara, Vicki (Patrick) Zirnhelt, and Christy (Rick) Soucy, and fourteen grandchildren: Abigael, Kate, Peter, Gregory, Madelyn, Christian, and Hope Zirnhelt; Bridget, Simon, Margot, Tessa, and William Johnson; and Claire and Adam Soucy .

Mom’s great loves were her family and her Lord, and her lasting legacy is the union among them all. Only physical impossibility impeded her daily Mass-going and time spent in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Her commitment to the pro-life movement brought her the respect and friendship of so many.

Judy is predeceased by her parents William and Dorothy, of Montreal, and her sister-in-law Carol. She leaves behind her dear siblings Dee (Peter), Neil, Lee (Herb), Lynn (Tom), Jimmy (Karen), Brenda, Kenny (Mary Jo), and her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to Campaign Life Coalition. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca

Peter and the family would like to express their sincere thanks for the professional care--and evidently affectionate attention above the call of duty--from Tracy DaCosta, Tamar Hammill, and all Judy's carers at Sunrise Mississauga over the last few months.

We also wish to praise the competency and compassion of neurosurgeon Dr. Dominic Rosso, and the support of his team and the staff at Trillium Mississauga, "Mom's Hospital," over the eight years since she suffered her original aneurysm. We always knew she was in excellent hands.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Kipling and Islington Aves.), Etobicoke, on:
Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and
Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. (Rosary Prayers at 8 p.m.)

The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 1372 King St. W., Toronto, on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10 a.m., followed by a reception in the church hall.
Afterwards, the burial will take place at 1:15 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Highway 27, Woodbridge, ON, L4L 1A5

Note: Time of Burial Is Approximate

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
- John 14:1-3
