Judith (Judy) Rahaman-Majarali left her earthly life peacefully at her home. She was a cancer survivor, who also lived for many years with coronary vascular disease,
diabetes, hypertension, and sarcoidosis, which led to her becoming a double amputee.
Through it all, she retained a deep spiritual strength and resilience. Her love for all manifested in her continued support and devotion to those around her. She never complained about her plight, which meant that many of the souls that she quietly supported, motivated, or simply touched with kindness, were unaware of her personal struggles.
While she will be missed by the many friends and family that she has left, her loving brother Ronald Rahaman (1987), her cherished nephew Marc Rene Pittet (2002), along with her parents (Edwin and Grace) and a multitude of Aunts, Uncles, and friends will no doubt be rejoicing to welcome her beautiful soul back into their fold.
She is survived by her loving and devoted sister and brother-in-law Deborah & Rene Pittet, her younger brothers Dave and Kurt Rahaman (who she loved and cared for as her own), and her sister Eve Shah and husband Dwayne Houle. She will continue to be cherished by her beautiful nephews Troy and Tiel Rahaman, and admired by her loving niece Tess Rahaman. She also recognized the love and support of her step-mother, Zila Rahaman. Her memory will continue to be carried by Ralph and Liz Shah, Kelvin and Jocelyn (2019) Shah, Lynn and Ali Hormozian, in addition to all her cousins and their wonderful families (who were truly her extended brothers and sisters, with multiple nieces, nephews, and grands).
She had a successful career in accounting before operating and owning her own business where she was beloved and involved. She dedicated herself to her family, friends, and was devoted to many groups. This included the Sterling Group, her beloved Family of Women, and her incredible extended family The Brahma Kumaris, who lifted her to levels of joy and happiness that made her generous and beautiful soul committed to sharing her happiness with the world.
Judith’s love and light has touched so many. More importantly, many have loved, supported, and relished in the joy of her wonderful and generous soul. The family is committed to a Celebration of Life and Remembrance as soon as it is safe to do so, followed by an interment of ashes ceremony.
