Joyce Sava (Nee Butland)

December 5, 1924 -  September 10, 2021

Passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021 at the Beachwood Long Term Care Centre. Predeceased by her loving husband George (2008). Cherished mother of Vickie & Fred (Kathy). Beloved grandmother of Jeffrey (Jane).

The family wants to especially thank her long-time companion and care giver Rose who stayed at her side for the past 6 years keeping “Momma” with us.

For those who wish, donations may be made to Trillium Hospital – Cardiac Care Unit on her behalf.

Had I had the honour to meet your Mom Fred I would have told her that she raised a fabulous son with many wonderful and endearing qualities. I can tell by the beautiful picture of her and the glint in her eyes she would have smiled at me and said so proudly "Thank you! "

Grandma Joyce was so spunky in her day, I loved watching her keep up to Jeff! They were a great pair, on their Saturday breakfast dates, you never knew what they would get up to!! Grandma was always a good sport to put up with Jeff’s jokes!

We are so grateful for all the excellent care she received in her final years… Rose and Grandma were wonderful friends and “sisters…”. Rest In Peace Grandma! You will be missed so much. Xo
