Josephine Nunes, peacefully, with her family by her side, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, passed away at Silverthorn Long Term Care, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Edward Nunes. Devoted mother of Maria and Mother-in-Law to Tony, much loved Nana to Shannon and Jonathan, and treasured Aunty Josephine to too many to count.

Friends and family may pay their respects at Turner and Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, (1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, ON, L5K 2M5) Thursday, April 3rd from 6 - 8 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be held at Merciful Redeemer Catholic Church, 2772 Erin Centre Blvd., on Friday April 4, 2025 at 10 a.m., with the burial to follow at Interment Assumption Cemetery (6933 Tomken Road Mississauga, ON L5T 1N4). If desired, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
