With deep sorrow and much love, the family of Joseph announces his peaceful passing on April 2, 2026 at the age of 83.

Loving son of the late Jan and Helena. Beloved husband of Marianna (nee Latkowska) and cherished father of Joann (Walter) and Lillian. Adored by his grandchildren, Walter Jr., Grace, and Felix. Loving brother of Teresa Ford (Alfred) and Janina Civiero (Walt). Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by family in Poland.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Campbell House, Hospice Georgian Triangle and to Dr. Schreiber for their compassionate care, support, and kindness during his final days.

A memorial visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto) on Wednesday, April 15 at 10 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle or to the Canadian Cancer Society in Joseph’s memory.
