It is with profound sadness we share the sudden passing of Joseph. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife & daughter on Tuesday September 24, 2024.
Loving husband & devoted partner for over 50 years to Gail. Beloved father to Richard (late) & Erica. Proud Grampa to his grand-dog Teddy. Brother to Rimantas. He will be fondly remembered by all of his family, friends & colleagues for his kindness, warmth, humour & generosity.
Joseph was born to Stasys & Marija Jaseliunas on November 23, 1947 in Rio de Janeiro and they came to Canada in 1953. He met his wife Gail in 1973 and built a wonderful life together with their 2 beautiful children. Family was everything to Joseph. He was happiest when surrounded by his family & friends in his home and loved spending time at the cottage in Wasaga Beach & the condo in Florida.
Before his retirement, Joseph was Senior Vice President at Benefit Plan Administrators where he worked for over 30 years with his BPA Family.
He enjoyed spending time watching football, baseball and was an avid NASCAR fan. He spent many years attending the Daytona 500 with his son and close friends.
He will always be remembered for his love of music, trivia and hilarious sayings.
Joseph has reunited with Richard and is survived by his family & friends, who will cherish his memory and fondly remember the love he shared.
