In Celebration of

Joseph Albert Madill

April 8, 1948 -  June 1, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe on Friday June 1, 2018 at the age of 70 with family by his side. Beloved spouse of Rose-Marie Manrique. Loving brother of John (Joyce), Margaret Sheppard (Mike), and Beth Madill (Tim Howard). Uncle to Jason (Monica), Chris (Lisa) and Craig. Granduncle to Rory and Nora. Dear brother-in-law of Natalie Manrique (Kevin Cox). Cherished and much loved by his mother-in-law, Carmen Manrique.

Visitation will be at Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Friday June 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

Joe, you’ve made such a wonderful difference in the many lives that you touched. You had such a big heart and a beautiful soul. So many cherished memories. You were one of a kind and are loved by so many. Always true, thoughtful and kind. The world is a better place because of you.

You were so strong. You perservered through setbacks with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). You never gave up and you fought so hard. Rest in peace. You no longer have to endure living with this devastating disease.

You will be deeply missed. You will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts and memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Lorraine Kalia’s PSP Research at the Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Please visit www.tgwhf.ca/tribute or call 416-603-5300.

My deepest condolences to Rosemary and families
We have lost a great one
Joe was an absolute gem, worked very hard for his Dad,the late Mr. Earl Maddil, and of course himself throughout his life.
In his later life he met the love of his life, Rosemary, whom he adored so dearly and spoke proudly of their travels together.
Joe couldn’t of been happier and had the utmost loving care, if wasn’t for his dear Rosemary.
Thanks Rosemary for being whom you are and giving your all to my dear friend Joe.
He is a very lucky gentleman.

Joe Rest In Peace my friend

I am so sorry to learn of Joe's recent passing. As a classmate of Joe's at King's College at Western University in the late 60's,I remember him as a hard working and affable young man. Joe was his own man;his dry wit and comfort in his own skin made him a valued friend and confidant. As a groomsman at our wedding, his support and good humour was most appreciated.I will remember Joe as a man who was proud of his rural background, steadfast in his beliefs and supportive of his friends. He was a good and decent man.My sympathy to all of his loved ones.
