Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Aldona. Loving father of Sigi and his wife Liz of Victoria, B.C., and Ramona Gulyas and her husband George of Whitby, Ontario. Dear grandfather of Tony and his wife Jasmine, Geoff and his wife Lauren, Adrienne and her husband Dave, and Adam. Proud great grandfather of Owen, Elliot, and Aurelija. Friends may call at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, on Sunday, September 24th from 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Church of the Resurrection, 1 Resurrection Road, Etobicoke. Interment to follow at St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga. For those who wish, donations may be made to Labdara Lithuanian Nursing Home.

Dearest Sigi and Liz, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your dad will always bring up fond memories for me. When we were neighbours in Toronto your dad and mine were always helping each other fix things, while you and I were messing around, probably breaking things. And when my mum was on her own and there was a leaking faucet or a broken toilet, Jonas was there, after a long day at work, to fix the darn thing
I'm truly sure your dad is in a better and beautiful place now and he will be in our hearts forever. Please give our condolences to your mum and sister.
