It’s with great sadness, we announce the death of John Siwinski, on May 25, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. John was the beloved husband of Moreen. A loving cousin to George, Christine, Teresa, Antek, Barbara, Diana, Rachelle, Leigh, Dana, and so many others. After graduating from the Humber College Music Program, John became a professional musician traveling across Canada, the US, and abroad. He later went to the University of Toronto for his teaching degree. John was a teacher of Music and Special Education for the TDSB for 25 years. A natural at sports, he wind surfed, played golf and hockey, bicycled, and skied. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. John continues to inspire us all with his happy-go-lucky spirit, positive attitude, and generous heart. He will be dearly missed, may he rest in peace.
