John was a wonderful person and we shared mutual friends for many years in Mussissauga. We attended friend's barbecues, and get togethers always accompanied by laughter and get banter.
My life was certainly enriched knowing John.
May he be at peace now to join his wife Tillie, who I knew he loved immensely.
Fondest thoughts, Collette Noel

John was such a kind man and he and his wife Tillie were wonderful neighbours to our family as I was growing up. I was fortunate to be in the neighbourhood and see John and speak with him last summer and he was as chipper as ever. My sincere condolences to John's family and friends - I'm sure he will be greatly missed.

John gave me guidance on how to do things right the first time in engineering and life.
He gave the right uplift and direction to a person who landed on these shores with adventure in mind but without a plan .
