In Celebration of

John Nicoll

July 6, 1927 -  June 8, 2022

In the early hours of June 8, 2022 peacefully and without warning, John Nicoll was called by the angels. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret Rose (Rita), he leaves behind his sister Lorna Blackall (Ireland), his loving daughter Andrea Linton, son-in-law Kevin Linton and his two grandsons, Keith (Melissa Le) and Kirk Linton who adored their Granddaddy. Also staying behind are his three sister-in-laws, Maureen Crump, Wilma Fee & Patricia Young as well as three generations of nieces & nephews both in Ontario and the south of Ireland.

Friends and family are welcome to share memories at Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, on Wednesday June 15, 2022 from 3 – 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 625 Atwater Ave, Mississauga, on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.

Andrea & family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Evergreen Retirement Community and the gentle caring hands of the VON personnel who provided personal support and so much more to John over the past 6 years. Know that you made a difference!

If you wish, donations can be made in John's name to Village Mosaic through Fontbonne Ministries.

So so sorry to hear of the passing of my dear "Uncle Jack" as he was fondly know in this part of the world. Such wonderful fun and fond memories of his and Rita's visits to us in Dublin and in Clare. Will always remember our trip to Canada and especially Jacks unique driving skills and the welcome we all received from both Jack and Rita. Memories to hold and to treasure forever. Rest in peace dear Jack.
With much love,
