It is with tremendous sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Miziolek, who died peacefully at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga on the early morning of December 22, 2018. John was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer less than 2 months ago.

Adored husband of Aileen (Alina) Miziolek, and cherished father to Alexandra (Lesia) Miga and the late Katherine (Kasia) Miga. Loving son to the late Diane and Henry Miziolek. Beloved brother of Michelle Miziolek, Robert Miziolek, and Michael Miziolek and loving uncle and godfather to Matthew Medakiewicz. Cherished by many cousins, and friends who loved John like a brother.

John valued humour, fun and honesty. He was an outdoorsman who loved lakes, boats, fishing and family cottages. His sense of humour, laughter and zest for life was infectious and attracted an abundance of friends. We will all miss his presence and cherish many happy and funny memories of a man who loved to make people laugh.

We are grateful to all our family and friends for their support and prayers through this most difficult time.

The Katherine Miga Foundation funds scholarships at Michael Power/St. Joseph High School, where John was also a student, as well as charities which help underprivileged children worldwide.
